The role
We are looking for an accomplished Audit Manager to lead a professional team and assist in growing the division with a view to partnership. You will be a confident professional with the vision and ambition to make partnership, and be willing to work closely with our highly regarded Audit Partner to continue the growth of the audit division within the practice.
Ideally you will :
- have appropriate tertiary and professional qualifications
- have strong interpersonal and influencing skills, together with advanced written and oral communication skills
- have a high level of awareness of current issues facing business generally, accounting standards, business structure issues, internal controls and processes and IFRS
- possess a strong commercial acumen
- have solid business development skills and enjoy networking
- possess exceptional relationship building, coaching and leadership skills and be able to lead by example, train, mentor and develop the audit team
- be able to schedule, plan, execute, supervise, report and follow up audit projects in accordance with established audit methodologies
- be willing and able to manage client audit engagements in an autonomous fashion and think laterally on delivering best value audit outcomes for clients
