Partner, Wayne Russell, appointed Chairman of The Greater

Wayne Russell has been appointed Chairman of the Greater Building Society. This is a highly prestigious appointment with one of the largest building societies in Australia.

Wayne has spent a significant part of his career in the area of audit and assurance as an ex-partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers before accepting the position of audit partner at Farrow Wyatt in 2010.  His experience in this area extends across a wide variety of industries including manufacturing and distribution, insurance and financial services and local government.   He is a member of executive of a number of industry advisory groups providing accounting and assurance advice to members and regulators.  He is a registered company auditor and member of the Institute of Internal Auditors as well as being a member and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
